Can't Play MOV on iPad

Mov File Can't Play on iPad, Help!

Question: Hey, guys. I am having problem to put MOV files to my iPad and watch it on iPad. I've tried searching this up in forums but didn't have any luck with that. I can't seem to upload my QuickTime movies into iPad. They can be imported into my iTunes library but when I drag it to the iPad tab it says it cannot be copied because it cannot be played on the iPad.

May I know what could be the problem with my importing?

Answer: It could be caused by number of things. Before putting MOV movies to iPad, please read what specifications are supported by iPad. Below is for your reference.

* H.264 video up to 720p, 30 frames per second, Main Profile level 3.1 with AAC-LC audio up to 160 Kbps per channel, 48kHz, stereo audio in .m4v, .mp4, and .mov file formats;

* MPEG-4 video, up to 2.5 Mbps, 640 by 480 pixels, 30 frames per second, Simple Profile with AAC-LC audio up to 160 Kbps, 48kHz, stereo audio in .m4v, .mp4, and .mov file formats;

* Motion JPEG (M-JPEG) up to 35 Mbps, 1280 by 720 pixels, 30 frames per second, audio in ulaw, PCM stereo audio in .avi file format.
